Yes, It’s Borrowed allows strangers to rent items to others. Delivery and pickup is up to you.

Use common sense and don’t post dangerous or items of bad taste.

 Items not allowed:

 

  • Weapons (Knives, guns, potato guns, explosives, etc)
  • Single use items (bullets, diapers, disposable goods)
  • Food or hygienic items (toothpaste, Deodorant)
  • Living things (People, animals, yeast, etc)
  • Media files ( hard copy or digital)
  • Items that you value over $500
  • Anything you or someone else would deem dangerous
  • Items of sexual nature (sex toys, pornographic media)

Yes, the rental company has it’s own loss or damage policy so It’s Borrowed is not responsible in anyway for the items.

No, You can post items you don’t yet own to It’s Borrowed. When a request comes in for that item you can acquire the items quickly from Offerup, Swap Meet, Play it Again Sports, Amazon or through our It’s Borrowed Store which features Amazon Items perfect for It’s Borrowed.

We only cover items up to $500 so cars aren’t covered for use in It’s Borrowed.

You can ask your host to post additional items to meet your needs or post a “Neighborhood request” in  app for other users to provide you with items. Pickup and delivery may be necessary.

By agreeing with the It’s Borrowed terms of service, neither It’s Borrowed nor the owner of the items is responsible for your safety. Please do not use an item that you are not uncomfortable with.

Sometimes the picture does not match exactly the item you rented. If you find the item is not usable, we can help to find a replacement. Email help@itsborrowed.com for assistance.
